March 25, 2009 - Historic Tax Maps from 1870, 1880, 1890, 1900 and 1910 have been scanned and uploaded.
Scanning of some townships of the 1914-1960s era taxmaps has been completed.

Township Section Maps are available in AutoCAD R14 format here.  These are NOT survey plats.  Parcel lines have been digitized from Mylars/paper maps in the Engineer's Office and adhere to no accuracy standard.  CAD maps are not up-to-date (many are 1990's vintage)!  For paper copies of tax maps, contact the County Engineer's Tax Map Office at 740-699-2161.

As most tax mapping is still manually drafted, and digital mapping lacks metadata and complies with no consistent standard, there is no countywide parcel shapefile or geodatabase at this time.

June 18, 2010 - Red indicates scanned in 2010; all others scanned in 2009 using Xerox 6204 large format copier, scanner and printer at 600 dpi B&W.
